Support Let’s Talk
Our web-based archive is free. It contains a copy of the current issue and on-line retrieval for all articles in previous issues from Vol. 1, No. 1 forward. We provide a preview of the current issue for one month after the publication date, and a full electronic version at the end of that month.
Editorial operations at Let’s Talk are independent of the Synod and the ELCA. Everyone at Let’s Talk serves gratis and authors receive no compensation. We rely on the voluntary contributions of individuals and institutions to cover publication costs. To publish four issues per year (our goal) costs between $3200–$4000. In the first and second year of publication, we received generous contributions from The G. J. Aigner Foundation and Aid Association for Lutherans. Bishops Kenneth Olsen and Paul Landahl have given annual contributions and we have received support from Cone-Kalb-Wonderlick, P.C. and the Ecumenical Affairs Committee of the Synod. We have recently received a second generous grant from the G. J. Aigner Foundation. A few individual sustainers have contributed $150 or more and we accept appropriate advertising. However, the balance of our operating budget comes via individual contributions from readers like you. We need your financial support to continue publishing this journal, and to expand and develop Let’s Talk in the future.
